Rebuild is a non-profit initiative seeking to encourage change and restore community in Canada’s largest and most diverse city.

Emerging from a collective desire to reconnect and reimagine, we are a team of passionate change-makers driven by the potential to create a more vibrant and engaged city.

We believe that Toronto, as the most diverse city in the world, has the potential to become a catalyst for global change through local actions.

It takes a village to rebuild a city.

Since our official launch in November 2023, we’ve actively engaged with our community to co-imagine a shared vision for Toronto's future. Through curated gatherings, virtual community conversations, and co-visioning sessions, we’ve created space for Torontonians to share their diverse stories, perspectives, and insights.

Acknowledgements

Our work is hosted on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and we recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and the Inuk peoples. 

We’re not experts and continually endeavour to learn and are always open to growing and learning how we can better cultivate a space and culture that fosters a sense of safety, belonging, and inclusivity.
